Repealed.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That everything in
the Act to which this is a supplement relating to
the Maryland Historical Society be and the same
is hereby repealed.

In force.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted. That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.


CHAPTER 340.

Passed Mar.
21, 1867.

AN ACT to authorize Nicholas Hammond, ad-
ministrator of Nicholas H. Green, late Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County to
complete the unfinished records and business in
said office, and to collect the fees due to said
Green.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General As-
sembly, that certain records and other proceedings
in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County, remained unfinished by
Nicholas H. Green, late Clerk at the time of his
discease, and whereas it is also represented that
said unfinished business has not been completed
by the present Clerk George E. Gambrill, as re-
quired to be done by law, and whereas it is further
represented that there remains uncollected a large
number of fees due said desceased Clerk for the
work done in said office during his lifetime, there-
fore.

Authoriza-
tion.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Nicholas Hammond, adminis-
trator of said Nicholas H. Green, be and he is
hereby authorized to proceed to have the aforesaid
unfinished business and records completed or go
much thereof as shall remain unfinished on the

shall not have at that time the said business com-
pleted, and that said administrator shall be au-
