Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Also, reported the bill entitled, an Act in favor of R. W. Williams and Joseph Ebaugh; Which was read and adopted, and the bill passed by yeas and nays as follow:
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The bill entitled, an Act amending the Act of 1864, sec- ond sub-section, relating to the competency of witnesses; Was read the third time. On motion of Mr. Eaton, The Senate was called and the Sergeant sent for the absent senators, who after a time returned and reported that lie had notified the Senators that their attendance was required in the Senate Chamber. Mr. McMaster moved to suspend all further proceedings under the call. Determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays as follow:
