the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county and in
the Court of Appeals in the proceedings instituted
by him to compel the Governor to issue said com-

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of its passage. |

AN ACT to extend and continue inforce the Char-
ter of the Manchester Savings Institution. |

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Act passed on the
fifth day of March, eighteen hundred and fifty,
incorporating the Manchester Savings Institution,
be, and the same is hereby renewed and extended
for twenty years from and after the date of its ex-
piration, provided that so much of the original.
Act authorizing the issuing of capital stock and
limiting the amount thereof, and also so much of
the amendment to said original Act passed on the
sixth day of March, eighteen hundred and sixty,
authorizing the issuing of Bank notes, be and the
same are hereby repealed. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock
issued under the said original Act, be, and the
same is hereby converted into weekly deposits on
and after the passage of this Act, and that the
Treasurer of said Institution be required to make
the transfer of said stock to the respective holders
thereof, on or before the first day of April after
the passage of this Act. |
