CHAPTER 91.
Entitled AN ACT to continue the Charter of the
Canton Company of Baltimore. |
Charter con-
tinued. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the Charter of the Canton
Company of Baltimore, and the amendments and
supplements thereto, enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, shall continue in full force
and effect until the first day of February, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty-seven, and thereafter un-
til repealed, as thenceforth it may be at any time
either in whole or in part, at the discretion of the
Legislature. |

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
be in full force and effect from and after the day
of its passage. |

AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to pay
Daniel R. Magruder, Circuit Judge of the Sec-
ond Judicial Circuit, for arrears of salary due
him, and for Costs in the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel county, and in the Court of Appeals. |

upon warrant. |
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, pay to Daniel R. Ma-
gruder, for arrears of salary due him as Circuit
Judge of the Second Judicial Circuit, the sum of
sixteen hundred and sixty-six dollars, being for
eight months salary up to the tenth day of July,
eighteen hundred and sixty-six, andf or the period
of time during which he was deprived of his said
office, by the refusal of the Governor to issue his
commission; and also the sum of three hundred |
