Pending the consideration of the bill; The Senate adjourned. TUESDAY, February 6, 7 1/2 P. M., 1866. The. Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow- ing bills: A bill to restore to the rights of citizenship, Wm. Thomp- son, of R., and others; Which was read and. referred to the Committee on Elec- tions. A bill to repeal from section thirty-one to section forty, inclusive, of article six of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to "Apprentices," 'and to strike out the words "white apprentices," occurring between the ninth and tenth. sections of said article; Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit- tee on Colored Population. A bill to amend and re-enact the second section of the Act, passed on the twenty-fourth day of March, eighteen hun- dred and sixty-five, entitled, an Act to provide for the regis- tration of births, marriages and deaths; "Which was read the first time and referred to the Com- mittee on Judicial Proceeding*.
