Mr. Davis, of Washington, submitted the following amend- ment: Section 13, strike out all after the word "same" in line 6; Which was read and adopted. On motion of Mr. Ohr, The 13th section was stricken out. Mr. Vickers submitted the following amendments: In the 5th line, of the 12th section, after the word "Cecil" add the words "by printed advertisements, and in a newspa- per published in each county;" In section 12, line 17, after the word "manner" insert the words "and after notice;" Which were read and adopted. The bill was then read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading; Read the third time by special order, three-fourths concur- ring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Vickers, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed- ings, reported a bill entitled, an Act to authorize Thomas I. White, and others, of Howard County, to convey certain lands to Joseph Blew, and others; |
