HOWARD Co. Laura's health is very good. She is taught at home, and attends church, pretty regularly. Habits are very good, and she has improved in her manners, and is more refined than when she came to live with us. Her general character for industry, application, obedience and truthfulness, are as good as might be expected from a girl of her age. If she remains with us her time out, we will try and make her a respectable and useful woman. Myself, wife and children are becoming attached to L., and we hope to make some- thing out of. her. W. H. G. Annie is in good hearth, learns to work well, and bids fair to make a useful woman. She is very attentive to her reli- gions duties, and. to all appearances, has been an earnest seek- er of religion. She is studious and attends Sabbath School regularly. J. W. W. |
