1866.] OF THE SENATE. 171 Mr. Wells submitted the following message: BY THE SENATE, February 3, 1866. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: The Senate has-received your message asking the return of the bill entitled, an Act to permit Wm. H. Downs to hold the office of Justice of the Peace and Assistant Assessor, and herewith return said bill agreeably to your request. By Order, C. HARWOOD. Secretary. Which was read, assented to and sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Turner submitted the following order: Ordered, That 1, 000 copies of the Senate proceedings of the 2d inst. be printed for the use of the Senate; The question upon its adoption was determined in the negative. Mr. McNeal submitted the following order: Ordered, That on and after Monday, 5th of February, the Senate shall commence its sessions at 10 o'clock, A, M., 4 o'clock, P. M., and 7 1/2 o'clock, P. M.; Mr. Earle moved to amend by meeting at 10 A. M. and 7 1/2 P. M.; Which was read and adopted, and the order, as amended, was adopted. Mr. Trail submitted the following message: BY THE SENATE, February 3, 1866, Gentlemen of the House of Delegates; We respectfully request of you the return of House bill No. 6 on your printed file, entitled, an Act to amend the 31st section, of Article 26, of the Code of Public General. Laws of this State entitled "Corporations." By order C. HARWOOD, Secretary. Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of Delegates. |
