Written by and attested to by Henry Page, Cleric. Oliver S. Horsey, a witness produced on behalf of claim- ant, being duly sworn, answers and says to interrogatories marked "W. H. R.:" To the first interrogatory : A. Thirty-one years , been a voter 10 years; resided in 1865 in District No. 14., 2nd. A. Did apply; took the oath; no witness; no charge, answered all the questions. The first day I went they told me they would defer my case to another day. I wanted to know what for; they told me on account of evidence against me. tasked them if the evidence would be examine! in my absence; they said not. I afterwards saw a list (pub- lished) of loyal voters, and my name was not there. I went a second time to know the cause. I said to the Registers that,I had come to know why my name was not registered among the loyal voters. Law-sou, a Register, said, "General Dis- loyalty."
