After answering the questions, one of the registers, Mr. Mills, said in reply to the question aforesaid, that there was no charge against me and probably would be none. That he didn't see how there could be any, seeing that I had worked so long for the Gov- ernment. I supposed I was registered as a voter until I went up to vote and was not permitted. 3d. A.
