150 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 1, The Chair laid before the Senate a petition from the mer- chants, ship owners and masters of the city of Baltimore, relating to Pilots. Which was read and referred to the Baltimore city Senators. Mr. Trail from the committee on Judicial Proceedings, to which was referred the bill to provide for changing of names by application to the courts; Reported it with an amendment; Which was read and adopted; And the bill was read the second time. Mr. Wells, from the committee on Judicial Proceedings, to which was referred the bill to prohibit the sale of liquor within three miles of Unionville, Frederick county; Reported it without amendment; And it was read the second time. Mr. Trail, from the committee on Judicial Proceedings, to which was referred the hill to repeal the 397th section of Article 4, of Local Laws relating to the Inspectors of Grain in Baltimore city; Reported it without amendment; And it was read the second time and ordered to he en- grossed for a third reading; Read the third time by special order, three-fourths concur- ring, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
Said 'bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Trail, from the Select committee, to which was re- ferred. the bill changing the Local Law for Frederick; |
