Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
Mr. Jenkins, from the Committee on Corporations, to
which was referred the bill to incorporate the United States
Fire and Marine Insurance Company of Baltimore ;
Reported it with amendments;
Which were read and adopted, and the bill was read tho
second time.
On motion of Mr. Philpot,
The Militia Bill was made the Order of the Day for Fri-
day next, at 1 o'clock P. M.
Mr. Jenkins, from the Committee on Corporations, to
which was referred the bill to incorporate the Baltimore and
Havana Steamship Company; '
Reported it without amendment, and it was read the sec-
ond time.
Mr. Trail, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill to repeal sections 13 of Article
29 of General Law, relating to the inspection of records;
Reported, with an amendment, which was read and adopt-
ed, and the bill was read the second time.
Mr. Trail, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which was referred the bill to change the Code relating to
the pay of County Commissioners;
Reported, "said bill ought not to pass;"
The Report was adopted, and the bill rejected and returned
to tho House of Delegates.
Also, reported without amendment, an Act changing the
Public Local Law relating to the abatement of nuisances;
Which was read the second time.
Also, reported without amendment the bill to protect tim-
ber of any kind in Dorchester county;
On -motion of Mr. Frazier,
The enacting clause was stricken out, and the bill was
rejected and returned to the House of Delegates.
