vent the sale of sill kinds of intoxicating drinks within the
above described limits;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.
A bill to incorporate the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal com-
any, passed at December session, 1823, chapter 140;
Winch was read thes first time and referred to the commit-
tee on Internal Improvements.
A bill to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more to endorse the first mortgage bonds of the Gwynn's
Falls Railroad company;
Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more city Senators.
A bill to repeal an Act passed January session, I865, enti-
tled, an Act to amend Article II, of the Code of Public Lo-
cal Laws, entitled, "Frederick county," and re-enact the
same with amendments;
Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Trail, Ohr and Tome.
Mr. Tome, from the Committee on Finance, to which was
referred, the following bill:
A bill to further regulate the relation of creditor and
debtor between the State of Maryland and the Susquehanna
and Tide Water Canal Companies;
A hill to authorize the County Commissioners of Wash-
ington county to assume a just proportion of the debt; as-
sumed by the Mayor and Councilmen; of Hagerstown;
A bill to authorize G. Eichelberger,, State Bounty Com-
missioner of Frederick county, to pay D. H. Maynard certain
bounties;
Reported them without amendments, and they were read
the second time.
Mr. Mackall, from the committee en Corporations, reported
a bill to amend the charter of the Baltimore Chrome Mining
company;
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Frazier, from the committee on Corporations, to which
was referred the bill to incorporate the Baltimore Rifle Tar-
get Shooting company;
