REVILL'S NECK, 5TH ELECTION DIST., ") December 29, 1865. 3 Caleb Broadwater, being duly sworn, deposeth and saith to the 8th and 9th interrogatories, that I am a registered and qualified voter in Election District No. 5, of Somerset County, Maryland, and did vote at said election for Thomas A. Isaac Gibbons, being duly sworn, deposeth and saith, that I was the Clerk to the officers of Registration of the Fifth Election District of Somerset County, and as such Clerk, by the order of the said officers, I delivered to the Judges of election of the said Election District, a copy of the Register of the qualified voters of the said district, on the morning of the 7th of November last, before the said Judges of election, at an election held on that day in said district, at the town of Princess Anne, had opened the polls and commenced re- ceiving the votes of voters. I am acquainted with the hand writing of L. R. Polk, one of the said Judges of election, having frequently seen him write; and the L. R. Polk, signed to the certificate on the paper now shown to me, marked Exhibit A. T. A. S, I believe to be his own proper hand- writing; that I believe the said paper to be a true copy of |
