4th- Did the said Judges of election at the said election have
before them a paper or list of names which they publicly announced
was a copy of the list of registered and qualified voters of the said
Election District, and did they in your presence refuse to permit
any person to vote who offered to vote on that day, and what
reason did they assign, if any, for such refusal?
5th. Did they, the said Judges, regard the paper or list of qual-
ified voters mentioned in the last question, as a paper which they

the day did they cease so to regard it?
6th. If they did cease to regard it, state their conduct and the
circumstances attending their disregard of it, and if you have any
knowledge of the state of the polls and the relative vote of Mr.
Franklin and myself at that time, you will state the same.
7th. Did you examine the said list of qualified registered
voters, if yea, look upon the papers now shown to you marked,
exhibit A. T. A. S., and say whether or not the same in your
opinion is a correct copy of said list ?
8th. Are you a registered and qualified voter in any Election
District in Somerset County, if yea, in which district?
9th. Did you vote at an election held for County Officers and
for Circuit Judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit of Maryland in
that district, on the 7th November last, if yea, for whom did you
vote for Circuit Judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit?
10th. Do you know of any other registered and qualified voter;
and that he voted at the said election for Thomas A. Spene for
Circuit Judge of the Twelth Judicial Circuit of Maryland, if yea?
