for Thomas A. Spence for Circuit Judge of the Twelfth
Judicial Circuit of Maryland.
Given under my hand and seal this 13th day of Decem-
ber, 1865.

I, Levin Woolford, Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somer-
set County aforesaid, hereby certify, that Edward F. Duer,
Esquire, before whom the above notice was given, appears
to have been made, and whose name appears thereto signed,
was at the time the same hears date, one of the Justices of
the Peace of the State of Maryland, in and for Somerset
County aforesaid, duly commissioned and sworn.
In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name
and affix the seal of the said Circuit Court, this
[SEAL.] 13th day of December, Anno Domini, 1865.
