The bill entitled, an Act to repeal the charter incorporat-
ing the town of Denton, in Caroline county, and enacting
the following in lieu thereof;
"Which was read the first time and. referred to the commit-
tee on Corporations,
The bill entitled, an Act to change the name of Rebecca
Ricaud, daughter of Dr. Lawrence M. Ricaud, of Kent coun-
ty, to Rebecca Miller Ricaud;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on the Judiciary.
The bill entitled, an Act to repeal the 19th section of the
24th article of the Code of Public General Laws relating to
the recording of any deed or conveyance of land after the
time prescribed for recording the same, and to re-enact the
same with an amendment;
Which was read the first time and referred to the commit-
tee on the Judiciary.
Also, the following House bills:
The bill entitled, an Act for repairing the old jail of Cecil
county, or the building of a new jail, at the discretion of the
County Commissioners of said county;
The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Baltimore and
Liberty Turnpike Road company in. Carroll county;
The bill entitled, an Act to repeal section 57 of article 1,
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany county, relat-
ing to '"Deer," and tore-enact the same with amendments;
The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Plum Point
Wharf company;
The bill entitled, an Act for the relief of Samuel Harring-
ton and others of Dorchester county;
The bill entitled, an Act to amend the Act entitled, an
Act to incorporate the Washington County Railroad, passed
at January session, 1864;
The bill entitled, an Act ceding to the United States of
America the jurisdiction over an addition to the site of the
Naval School at Annapolis;
The bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Powhattan
Steamboat company to increase the amount of the capital
stock thereof;
