John: Cropper Defendt Cropper of Somerset County my Heirs Executors and
and Admrs. to pay or cause to be paid unto John =
Woodside Master of the shipp Robert of Larne in the Kingdome of Ireland or to his ---
Certain Attorney the full and just. Sum of four hundred pounds of good sound Merchantable
tobacco in Caske in some convenient towne in the County aforesd according to Act of Assembly
to the which paymt.to be well and truely made and done at or before the tenth day of
october next ensueing the date hereof. I bind my selfe my Heirs and Executrs firmly by
these presents in Wittness whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal this twenty eight
day of Aprill 1686. John: Cropper ?

their to answer to answer the complaint of John: Parsons. fail not as you will answer the

ya are to Sumons as Evidences William: Alexander Senior and William Alexander Junior----

Somerset County Ssc Henry Hayman by Recognizance is here bound over to answer what shall be
objected
agt him in their Maties behalfe. &c. -------- And whereas the sd Henry.Hayman upon the fifth day day

last past about halfe a mile from the house of Wm Alexander in Wiccocomocoe did clandestlinely, and privately
cary a gun
and two doggs with some Corne, and then and their did towl a percell of hoggs belonging to John Parsons of this
County
and after ye sd hoggs were come wthin reach of the sd gunn the defendt did felloniously shoot and wound one
hogg and
with the doggs did follow the rest but being discovered left the pursuit to the great damage & detriment
of the inhabitants of this Province breach of the laws and agt their Maties peace their Maties Attorney
Craves judgmt may be entered agt the sd Hayman according to law &c
