Trewella ,00: 08: 06: To me pd Slater Miniser ,00: 10: 00: By money Retourned - - ,03: 00: 00 To 1 gall Rum & Suger 2lb ,00: 05: 00: By his Wages - - - - ,10: 10: 00 To his Bond to me - - - ,15: 00: 00: ,13: 10: 00: To Brandy for Cap: Colle ,00: 01: 00: To Ballance due - - - ,04: 19: 09 2 To me. for goose - - - - ,01: 00: 06: To me. for Ell holland - - - ,00: 01: 06: To me for Rum. - - - - ,00: 01: 00: Sangster Attorney for Hasswell To 25 pr Cont for 19s:10d: - ,00: 04: 11:2 To a Red Wasecoat - - - ,00: 02: 06: Dent for Pereen . 8: 14: 92 ,18: 19: 9:2 3: 10: 0 J:W. 5 4: 92 The Petition Certificate and accompt being Read in Court Preen and Haswell: joyned issue By their Attorneys Referring it Solely to the judgment of the Court. who having well considered the premisses doe conclude the said Elizabeth Mechathen alias Snogergill to be the Wife of John: Haswell. - - - - - Dent for Preen: - - - - Sangster for Haswell The same time came Severall Complaints against the Askymene Indians of their misdemeanors toward our English neighbours all which they have been acquainted with not all regarding the same but retourns ill Language, Saying they are abused and therefore our said Justices having taken the premisses into Consideration did then pass an Order, which you John Townsend Senior and William Bowen are punctually to observe and make report of the same at our next Court to be holden the Second tuesday in March following. which Order. is as followeth. viz. that you goe to the upper Indian Towne viz Askymone Couson. and friendly to discourse these Indians concerning the above said complaints, and know the occasion of difference betwixt the English and them and if so be the English have done them any wrong (tell them) that if they please to come to Court they shall have Justice done them. It is likewise reported they have killed severall English hoggs The same time the Court Ordered that Edmund: Hammond do appear next Court to be holden the second tuesday in March, to answer Objections made against him by Indians To the Worll. Comrs of Somerset County the humble Petion of David Dreddon humbly sheweth That your Petioner hath Served Randall Revell deceased the space of One year where upon there becomes due to your Petioner twelve hundred and Seventeen pounds of tobacco of which he hath recd no part of Satisfaction your Petioner humbly craves Order a(gainst) the Admr. of the decd. and your Petioner Shall pray. (to which sum of 1217lb tobacco - Jno West proved payment of 200lb tobacco, then became due upon Petion 1017: to wch: sum the said Dreddon made Oath, that he had recd no part or parcell Order granted to Dreddon for 1017 pounds of tobacco to be pd by Randell Revell Court adjoured till ---- Clock next day |
