John Taylor plt. Somerset County Ssc. Joseph ffreeman late of this County was summoned to
(answer)
agt. unto John Taylor in a plea of the Case ---debt
Joseph ffreeman deft And whereupon the sd John Taylor in his own proper pson Comes and sayes
(that the)
said Joseph ffreeman became indebted unto the sd John. Taylor the full and just
Sum of five hundred and fifty pounds of tobacco & Caske as pr an accompt here
Anexed will more plainly appear which sd Sum hath not pd but doth deny to pay although often
thereunto required to the great losse and damage of the plt to the value of One thousand pounds
One hundred pounds of tobacco and thereupon brings his suit &c.

Anno in 83/ to three dayes worke at 30 50lb pr day 150.
