191 Ordr,Walter Lane appear next Court to shew cause why he should not pay unto mr Thomas Newbold four hundred and thirteen pounds of tobacco, owing sd Newbold by Jonas Seaward Somerset County in Maryland Ss. Be it known and manifest unto all persons to whom these presents shall come, that I William: Trail of Somerset County Clerk. for divers good causes and Considerations me hereunto espetially moveing have made Constituted and appointed and in my place and stead put and authorized my trusty and welbeloved wife Elinor: Traile of Somerset County foresd my true and lawfull Attorney for me and in my name and to my use to enter into hold & posess all and singuler the lands & Tenements whatsoever to me belonging within the County aforesd by whch name or title so everknown or calld with all and singuler the appurtenances thereunto belonging and the same or any part thereof for me and in my name to view and Survey and the same land or any part thereof for me and in my name, to bargain sell lease and grant to any person or persons wht soever and for Such estates, for life or lives, Inheritance, and for Such Sum or Sums of money, as to my said Attorney shall be thought meet and Convenient to the uttermost & best comodity and profit of me the said William: Traile, and the deed or deeds of the same grant or grants So to be made for me and in my name, to make Seal and as my deed deliver unto the party or parties to whome the same shall be made or to any other, to his or their use & uses and Counter parts of the same for me and in my name to accept & receive and also all Such fines & other Sums of money as shall grow due for the same for me & in my name and to my use to gather receive and take, and all such rents duties and arearages of Rents & profits as are already or hereafter shall become due or payable for out of or concerning the premises or any of them to receive and also all other debts or Sums of money, tobacco Indian Corne wheat porke &c as are shall or may become due or payable to me in any part of this Province of Maryland or in the Collony of Virginia from any person or persons whatsoever for me and in my name and to my use, to ask sue for leavy recover and receive and upon the receit of any of the said Sums of money, tobacco Indian Corne &c. acquittances or other discharges for me & in my name to make seal and deliver, and for the recovery of any Such debt or debts one or more attorneys under her to constitute & appoint, and the same at her will & pleasure to revoke, and all other act and acts, thing & things, device and devises in the Law needfull and necessary for the recovery of any debt or debts as to the sd Attorney shall seem meet & convenient in the premisses to act and do giving & hereby granting unto my said Attorney my full power and authority touching & concerning ye premisses to doe execute and finish in all things in as ample manner to all intents and purposes as I my Selfe might or could do ratifying allowing and holding firm & stable whatsoever my said Attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done in and about the premisses or any of them according to the true intent and meaning of these presents.
