Somerset County in Maryland / To their Maties Worll. Justices of the Peace for this County the petion
of
Robert Hignett humbly sheweth that your Worps Petioner hath attended to wittness in a controversy
depending in Court between Thomas: Millman and James Berry twelve dayes, your Worships Petioner
Craves your Worships Order. for charges for my attendance and your Petioner as in duty Bound shall
ever pray &c. // 14. June then Sworne before us. Edmund Howard - - - - - - - - -

To the Worll. Justices of Somerset County now sitting The humble Petion of Susanna Jenkinson /
humbly sheweth that your Petioner was Sumoned by Thomas Millman, and hath attended the Court
twelve dayes, your petioner Craves yor Worships Order for her pay and your petioner in duty bound
Shall pray // 14th: June 1690 Then Sworne before me Edmund: Howard. - - - -

The Petion of Peter Watson Junior. Whereas your worships Petioner was Sumoned to be witness
against Edward Stevens, your worships Petioner hath --- Recorded folio 132: - - - - - - - - - - -

To the Worll. the Comrs of Somerset County in Court sitting. The humble Petion of Henry Hayman
humbly sheweth ----- Your Worps Petioner hath attended five Courts upon a Complaint brought
by your Petioner agt Cornelius Mulkah. he humbly craves your Worships the Cause may be tryed
that your Petioner may goe home about his other business, and your Petioner as in duty bound

shall ever pray &c. Read -------------

To the worll. Justices now in Court sitting. The humble Petion of Samuel: Merchant humbly sheweth
that your Petioner was Sumoned an Evidence for Wm: Bradshaw deft agt Garret: Seple plt
and your Petioner attended three dayes last Janry Court, your Petioner Craves yr Worships
Order for pay for his attendance, and your Petioner in duty bound shall pray
Sworne before me Samuel: Hopkins

The Court Orders that Richard Chambers make hooks and hinges for the Court house
doors, being for the saifty of the Court house / and that the Sheriffe doe see the sd
doors well hung and fitted. - - - - - - - - - - - -

To the Worll. Comrs of Somerset County the humble Petion of John: Richards humbly sheweth that yr
Petior
to this Court & he hath attended
was Sumoned ^ this is the fourth day, your Petioner humbly Craveth to know for what he was Sumoned
here for, and your Worships Order for releasment, and your poor Petioner as in duty bound shall
every pray. C Petion being read, no annser appearing, the Petion granted.


Itt was Ordered as in folio (100) that a grand Jury be by the Sheriffe impannelled, which was done and
retourne thereof made the 11th day of June, of sixteen Men. whose Names are as followeth (viz)

Turvill, Thomas: Smith. Griffin: Morris. ffr: Joyce. Simon Perkins Senior. Benjm Keizer. John: Outen
Lawrence:Crawford. John Colhoon. Robt. Houston. Miles: Williams. John Robbinson. John: Grey:

Miles: Harrison. Wm: Warwick. who was duely impannelled and Sworn, having recd their charge goe
