DELEGATE POWERS: The Committee on Calendar

and Agenda will meet tomorrow afternoon at 1:45 at the

Committee Office on the second floor of the State House.

THE PRESIDENT: The Committee on Personal Rights

and The Preamble, Delegate Kiefer.

DELEGATE KIEFER: Mr. President, in view of your

7

announcement of the meeting of the chairmen, the meeting

8

that was called for this Committee immediately after

9

this meeting will have to proceed without me, but it will

10

proceed because we have Mr. James Gentry here talking to

11

us, and I will ask Mrs. Bothe if she will just attend

12

to this while I am gone.

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. I should have added

14

two things to that announcement that I made. I do not

15

anticipate that the meeting of the committee chairmen

16

will last more than a half hour. It will probably be

17

closer to fifteen minutes. Secondly, I should have said

18

what I think is understood, that it is a meeting of com-

19

mittee chairmen and officers.
