THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Clagett?
DELEGATE CLAGETT: Mr. President, the Committee
on Local Government will reconvene after the adjournment
of the Convention, fifteen minutes thereafter, and continue
the study of Delegates' Proposals. Tomorrow the Committee
I will convene at 9 o'clock, and at 9:15 we will hear
Senators Emanuel, Finney and Lee; and then later in the
morning witnesses from the Maryland State Planning Depart-
ment, Senator Wineland and Mrs. Callison of the League of
Women Voters.
On Monday we will begin our hearing of
Delegate Proposals, specifically Proposal No. 50 and 111,
10, 189, 231, 232 and 242. The delegates making those
proposals will be contacted if they have not already been
contacted.
We will have an evening session beginning at
7 p.m. on Monday, and at that time we will hear from
Mr. Doyle of HUD, General Ross of Montgomery County
Committee for Public Schools. |
