DELEGATE SHERBOW: May I invite attention to

the fact that every chairman is aware of his assignment?

May I suggest that we now consider, so much as having been

4

read, the reading of the full committee assignments?

5

THE PRESIDENT: It is moved that so much as has

6

been read of the committee assignments be considered as a

7

reading of the entire list of committee assignments and

8

appointment of chairmen. Is there a second?

9

(Seconded.)

THE PRESIDENT: Is there any discussion? Are

11

you ready for the question? All those in favor, signify

12

by saying Aye; contrary, No. It is so ordered.

A few other announcements pertaining largely

14

to housekeeping matters that I overlooked yesterday or

15

did not have in mind at the time.

16

First, in order that the delegates and the com-

17

mittee chairmen may plan their schedule affairs for the

18

balance of the day, every effort will be made to meet for

19

this session promptly at 2 p.m. To that end, the call

20

bell will be sounded at quarter of the hour, and again at

21

five minutes of the hour; and we will start promptly at 2

 

p.m. I would anticipate in the next week or so that the
