in committee: I wonder if -there was any question or study
made that redistricting can only be done by the state
legislature and we are not the state legislature and I
am wondering if that was a problem?

DELEGATE KOSS: With the permission of the Chair, I would like to make a correction or an amplification of
a statement that was made previously.

very clear that the League of Women Voters is not a single
issue organization. I don't think there is any question
in the minds of most people in the state that the League
did take a very important part in Congressional redistricting
