THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Sherbow?
DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr. President, the Com-
mittee on State Finance and Taxation will. be met Monday
immediately after the session. I remind the Convention
again that on Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m., hearings
will be conducted on a series of, I think seven proposal
dealing with various aspects of income taxes, and other
related taxes.
The sponsors have been invited to be present,
and we ask all of those who are interested in any
aspect of these proposals to come to that hearing and
make their views known.

DELEGATE MOSER: Mr. President, with regard
to the two public hearings, citizens' hearings, if they
can be so designated,that the Local Government Committee
held, a more precise count of who was there is the
following. There were approximately 25 people at the
evening session last night, excluding members of the |
