MR. QUILLEN: Delegate Proposal No. 232, by
Delegate Finch. A Proposal that the Constitution contain
a provision authorizing the Governor (or Legislature) to
enter into agreements and understandings with the Federal
government, as well as the governments of other states,
in order to conserve natural resources, including
various types of wasting assets and, to prevent erosion
of land.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Proposal No. 232
is referred to the Committee on Local Government.
Although these two proposals, numbers 231 and
232 are referred to the Committee on Local Government,
1 request the Committee on the Executive Branch to take
note of these proposals, because it was questionable
which of the two committees it should be referred to.
