we retain the archaic Comptroller.
THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Della.
DELEGATE DELLA: Mr. Chairman, I would like to
argue against the amendment.
Somehow or other, we have forgotten all about the
public. With all the forms that have been printed, and all
the nameplates that have been painted on buildings and doors,
which would have to be painted over again with a new printii.g, I am sure it would cost in the neighborhood of about $25,00(. I can understand wanting a modern Constitution, but I am sure
the people I represent are very much interested in $25,000
or more that would be thrown down the drain if this amend-
ment is adopted.
THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Case.
DELEGATE CASE: No questions.
THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Bamberger.
DELEGATE BAMBERGER: Would Delegate Stern yield
to a question?
THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Stern.
DELEGATE STERN: Yes.
THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Bamberger. |
