DELEGATE MARION: The debate and discussion
both immediately prior to the supper recess, as well as
some of the discussion and conversation since then,
remind me of a story I heard over the weekend of the young
boy who was asked in school by his teacher what his
favorite Christmas carol was; and he said that he had a
favorite but he just couldn't remember the name of it, and the
teacher said, Well, do you know how the tune goes? He
thought a minute and said. No, he didn't remember how the
tune went. She said, Do you remember any of the words?
He thought for a minute, and he said, No, he couldn't
remember any of the words. With that the little boy next
to him said, You know, that is my favorite Christmas carol,
too.
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Powers.
DELEGATE POWERS: Mr. President, I move the
Convention resolve itself into the Committee of the Whole
to resume consideration of Committee Report No. EB-I, sub-
ject to the amendment provided for the first item to be a
special order tomorrow.
THE PRESIDENT: Is the motion seconded?
