there are delegates that feel very strongly that a con-
tinuation of the consideration of this matter this after-
noon would not be just to them, the Chair would recognize
Delegate Powers to move that the committee rise, and we
will move ahead with this at the next sitting.
The Chair recognizes Delegate Powers, Chairman
of the Committee on Calendar and Agenda.
DELEGATE POWERS: I move that the Committee
of the Whole rise, report to the Convention as to its
action with respect to Committee Recommendation JB-I as
amended, and further report that it has not concluded its
consideration of Committee Recommendation GP-4.
THE CHAIRMAN: It has been seconded.
All in favor signify by saying Aye, contrary No.
The Ayes have it. It is so ordered.
(The mace was replaced by the Sergeant at Arms. )
(Whereupon, at 5:40 p.m., the Committee of the
Whole rose, and the Convention reconvened.)
THE PRESIDENT: The Convention will now come
to order.
Will the Clerk please ring the quorum bell?
