birthday; and isn't it true that he is a pleasant, intelli-
gent, articulate -- what else -- aren't all these things
true about him , and shouldn't we give him a round of
applause?
DELEGATE MUDD: Exactly; except I didn't think
he was 48. (Laughter.) (Applause.)
THE CHAIRMAN: Delegate Rybczynski.
DELEGATE RYBCZYNSKI: I would like to ask
another question.
DELEGATE MUDD; Don't make it that long.
DELEGATE RYBCZYNSKI: Delegate Mudd.with referel
to the uniformity of the four tier system, plus the inclu-
sion of the coBiBissioners, who, I suppose in many respects
would be like the masters we now use, can you give us an
estimate of the anticipated cost, say within the first
five years of operation of this new four-tier system?
DELEGATE MUDD: The only answer I can give
to him is the one Delegate Bradshaw gave a few moments
ago, that the information he has now so far assembled
shows it would cost approximately $250,000 more per year
than the present cost to administer the court system. |
