the substitute language is what?
2
DELEGATE SCANLAN: "That is determined in
3
whole or in part, with reference to the result accomplished."
4
That is a slightly broader coverage than
5
we had and more consistent with the statutory regulation
6
on the subject.
7
DELEGATE BAMBERGER: Say that again, please.
8
DELEGATE SCANLAN: I am sorry. We will delete,
9
the motion is to delete the last line on Page 4, and
10
substitute for it language reading "That is determined
11
in whole on in part with reference to the result
12
accomplished." As I understand It, it won't be necessary
13
just to have a contingent fee to defeat something or
14
get something approved. If it in any way was contingent
15
upon the degree of your success at the Convention, in
16
shading a point of view, et cetera, it would then be
17
covered by the prohibition against contingent fees.
18
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Bamberger?
19
DELEGATE BAMBERGER: That same amendment would
20
have to be made after the word compensation, on the
21
seventh line of Paragraph 7.
