the reason for the absence , not only on that day, but on

all previous days. The record is being kept, and it can

be noted at that time.

If the Convention desires any different

5

procedure, and desires that in each instance reasons

6

for absence be publicly announced by the presiding

7

officer, it can be so indicated in the discussion of

8

the report of the Committee on Rules and whatever

9

practice the Convention desires to follow, will be

10

followed.

I also want to call your attention to the fact

12

that Resolution No. 3, introduced yesterday by Delegate

13

Malkus and read across the desk, has been printed and is

14

or should be on your desk. If any delegate does not

15

have a copy of that resolution today, please let us know

16

and the pages will see that you get one.

Are there any announcements by committee

chairmen? Delegate Weidemeyer?
