sir. This morning at a meeting of the Committee, on a
motion by Delegate Weidemeyer, seconded by Delegate Price,
and supported by Delegate Mitchell, the Committee adopted
a resolution unanimously commending the President of this
Convention on the very fine television appearance he
made last night on behalf of the Convention and its
workers. While I personally did not see this program,
those who did were most enthusiastic over the good image
that he presented to the public for the work of this
Convention and its delegates. (Applause.)
THE PRESIDENT: Delegate Gallagher?
DELEGATE GALLAGHER: Mr. President, ladies
and gentlemen, the Committee on the Legislative Branch
will continue its taking of testimony from members and
former members of the General Assembly who are also member
of the Constitutional Convention, in H-8, fifteen minutes
after we adjourn today.
Tomorrow morning at 9:30 we will hear Dr. Carl
Everstine discuss the legislative process, and at 9:30 on
Friday morning, George Wills, the Chairman of the Wills
Commission, will appear before the Committee to discuss
