DELEGATE SHERBOW: Mr. President, I want to
announce the Committee on State Finance and Taxation will
meet immediately after this session is over. We will meet
tomorrow morning at nine-thirty. That is a slight change
in plan and the public hearings will begin tomorrow at
ten o'clock. I would like to suggest to the rest of the
Convention and to the Delegates, that if you see any
witnesses wandering around wanting to know where the Shaw
House is, just tell them it is across the street where
the oldest club used to be. People have trouble finding
us.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. Any other announce-
ments by Committee chairmen? Delegate Scanlan?
DELEGATE SCANLAN: Mr. President, the Rules
Committee will meet tomorrow following the conclusion
of the session in the basement of the Shaw House, more
accurately described as the house nearest the bar of the
Treadway Inn, but we will consider at that time three
things; the pending resolution to create a committee on
public information; a report from our sub-committee on
the manner of filling vacancies and finally, a report from |
