THE PRESIDENT: That had been the intention.

2

If there is any feeling that there should be a little

3

later hour, we could establish a later hour for the

4

hopper rule, only on Mondays.

5

DELEGATE HARDWICKE: I would like to make

6

the request that the time be 2 p.m. on Monday, if that

7

is convenient for the staff.

8

THE PRESIDENT: All right. Then let me

9

suggest that we amend the hopper rule previously announced

10

and instead of saying it shall be noon each day, it

11

shall be two hours previous to the scheduled hour for

12

the session on that day. That means on Monday,

13

hopper rule, 2 p.m. Any further announcements by

14

committee chairmen?

15

DELEGATE BOYER: Mr. President, the well

16

taken announcements of Delegate Moser have sparked

17

one of the more alert members of the General Provisions

18

Committee to invite this observation for the edification

19

of the Convention. We will be, beginning Monday, starting

20

our witness hearings on education and plunging head-long

21
