DELEGATE MOSER: Mr. President, on behalf

of the Local Government Committee, I would, if I may,

8

take the opportunity to outline the schedule of

9

hearings in a general way for next week. Point 1,

10

there will be no meeting of the committee this afternoon.

However, the committee will reconvene at 9:45,

12

At 9:45 the Committee will meet on Monday.

At 10 a.m. we are commencing hearings with representa-

14

tives of the Maryland Municipal League and the Maryland

15

County Commissioners Association. Mr. Thompson and

16

Mr. Ratchford will be there at that time. We also

17

expect, I think, at noon, or approximately that time

18

to hear from Vice President James. If he would like

19

to put that forward to a later time during the day,

20

this would be fine, but in any event, he expects to appear

21

before the committee.
