respect to all the committees of the Constitution.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. I would suggest
that two things -- one, that you be sure to let your
officer liaison member know this so that he can attempt
to coordinate interest, and I would also appreciate it
if you would let me have a memorandum so that I know
what is going on in this area.
There will unquestionably be difficulties in
which a particular subject matter is of interest to two
committees, and it would be highly desirable to the
greatest possible extent the committee chairmen arrange
in those instances to hold joint hearings, not only for
the convenience of the public and people who are testify-
ing, but also for the coordination of the work of the
Convention.
It would be unfortunate to have one committee
lagging behind another in consideration of the same general
area.
Any announcements by other committee chairmen?
DELEGATE SCANLAN: Mr. President, I want to
know if Resolution No. 2 is on the desk of the delegates
