DELEGATE LORD: The language is not exactly

9

what you have stated. We will offer, and the first amend-

10

ment offered by the Minority, will be an amendment to

11

substitute our Section 8.03 for Sections I and 4 of the

12

Majority Report. The language of the amendment will only

13

differ in one respect from that of the report which you

14

have in front of you, and that is in line 8 of the Minority

15

Report, following the word school, there will be the

16

phrase, headed by a board appointed by the governor.

Then, the new sentence will begin, which will

18

say, the State shall also provide.

It is an addition of, I think ten words, and

20

I certainly, if I didn't mention it in my presentation, I

21

certainly intended to.
