It is imperative that we take action on as much

as possible of committee recommendation, R&P-2. Therefore
|
|

the Chair proposes that we consider one other amendment which
|
|

|
has been offered, and which deals, once again, with the right
|
|

|
of removal of civil cases in the hope that this can be
|
|
6
|
speedily disposed of, and then to suggest that the Committee
|
|
7
|
of the Whole rise, and report its action with respect to all
|
|
8
|
of committee recommendation 2, except with respect to
|
|
9
|
sections 10, 11, and 13. These are the sections dealing
|
|
10
|
with juries of law, as well as fact. No imprisonment
|
|
11
|
for debt on the grand jury indictment. This would leave
|
|
12
|
those three sections open for further consideration next
|
|
13
|
Tuesday, and would permit those interested in the question
|
|
14
|
to conclude such research as they desire to. make.
|
|

|
This would also permit the Committee on Style in
|
|
16
|
the recess of the next few days to consider and perhaps
|
|
17
|
report on the action of the Committee of the Whole with
|
|
18
|
respect to the balance of Committee recommendation R&P-2.
