The question then recurred upon the amendment as offered by
Mr. Johnson, for the second section of the report.
Mr. Johnson, moved to amend said amendment by striking
out in the 1st line thereof "seventy-five." and in the 15th line
by striking out after "Baltimore city,'' the word ‘ten;''
Mr. Shriver, moved fot a division of the question upon the first
branch of said amendment, down, to the ‘‘proviso" in the 22nd line.
Mr. Stephenson, renewed the notice of his intention to move a
reconsideration of the amendment offered by him on the 28th
