Presstman, Ware, Fiery, John Newcomer, Harbine, Michael
Newcomer, Brewer, Anderson, Weber, Hollyday, Slicer, Fitz
patrick, Parke, Shower, Cockey and Brown—47.
NEGATIVE—Messrs. C hapman, Pres't, Mor gan, Blakistone,
Dent, Hopewell, Ricaud, Lee, Chambers, of Kent, Mitchell,
Donaldson, Dorsey, Wells, Randall, Kent, Sellman, Weems,

So the Convention reconsidered their vote on said amendment.
The President announced that the hour had arrived for taking
tip the orderof the day;
The Convention then resumed the consideration of the several
reports of the committee on Representation
The question pending before the Convention on yesterday,
being on the substitute offered by Mr. Jenifer, as a substitute for
the amendment offered by Mr. John Newcomer, as the 2nd section
of the report.
Mr. J enifer, wit hdrew his substitute.
The question then recurred on the adoption of the amendment
as offered by Mr. John Newcomer;
Mr. John Newcomer, moved the previous question, that is:
"Shall the main question be now put?" and it was
Determined in the negative.
The question again recurred on the adoption of the amendment
as offered by Mr. John Newcomer;
Mr. Dent, moved as a substitute for said amendment, the fol
lowing
‘‘Each county and the city af Baltimore shall elect four mem
bers to the House of Delegates;"
Mr. Blakistone, moved the question be taken by yeas and nays,
and being ordered, appeared as follows
A FFIRMATIVE —Messrs. Chapman, Pres't, Blakistone, I)ent,
Hopewell, Lee, Chambers, of Kent, Mitchell, Dorsey, Wells,
Kent, Weems, Dalrymple, Bond, Sollers, Brent, of Charles,
