Mr. Sprigg, from the committee on the Executive Department,
submitted a report, which he moved should be printed and gave
notice that when the report submitted by Mr. Grason, as chairman
of the committee on the Executive Department, came up for con
sideration, he should offer it as an amendment.

The Convention again resolved itself into a committee of the
whole House, upon the report submitted by Mr. Chambers, of
Kent, on the 13th ult., as chairman of the committee on the
Elective Franchise, and the amendment pending thereto, (Mr.
Blakistone being in the Chair,) and after some time spent in com
mittee, the President resumed the Chair, and the chairman re
ported that said committee, had in obedience to order, bad said
report again under consideration, and had come to no conclusion
thereon.

The Convention adjourned until Monday morning 11 o'clock.

the 1st section, first line, to the word ‘‘election," in the 3rd line
