who shall be entitled to receive from the County Commis-
sioners of said county for his services as such sanitary officer
the sum of three hundred dollars, payable in quarterly instal-
ments.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all the provisions of the Act
of 1882, Chapter one hundred and eighty -six, the Act of 1884,
Chapter five hundred and twelve, and the Act of 1886, Chap-
ter fifty-three, shall apply to the said sanitar3' officer provided
for in the first section hereof.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 592.

Compensation

AN ACT to prohibit the shooting of wild fowl between the
1st day of May and the loth day of October in the waters
of the Great Choptank River and its tributaries, lying
wholly within the limits of Trappe District, in Talbot
County, Maryland.

Talbot Co.

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
tand, That it shall be unlawful to shoot or shoot at wild fowl
between the 1st day of May and the loth day of October in
the waters of the Great Choptank River and its tributaries,
lying wholly within the limits of Trappe District, in Talbot
County, Maryland.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That nothing in this Act shall be so
construed as to interfere with the shooting of summer or acorn
ducks as now provided by law.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That any person violating the pro-
visions of this Act shall upon conviction be punished by a fine
not exceeding five dollars and costs of prosecution, one-half
of said fine to be paid to the informer.

SEC. 4. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.
