CHAPTER 568.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 145 and 150 of Article n of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Frederick County," sub-
title "Fish," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections one hundred and forty-five and one hun-
dred and fifty of Article 1 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Frederick County," sub-title "Fish," be and the same
are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to
read as follows:

fish by seine,
drag nets, etc.

145. It shall not be lawful for any person to take, capture
or destroy fish by seine, drag nets, fish baskets or fish pots,
eel weirs, brush or facine nets, or any means or contrivance
whatever of the nature of a seine which are known to destroy
or capture fish in the Monocacy River or any of its tributaries,
or any other waters within the limits of said county.

within certain
time.

150. It shall not be lawful for any person to take, catch or
destroy any fish in any manner between the fifteenth day of
April and the first day of June in waters of said county; pro-
vided that the Potomac River shall be exempted from the
provisions of this section.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Section two hundred and five, Chapter
five hundred and forty-three of the Acts of eighteen hun-
dred and ninety -four, title "Somerset County," sub-title
"Princess Anne," and re-enact same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the President and Commissioners may levy a tax
for the expenses of the corporation upon the taxable property
.within the town limits, providing such tax shall not exceed
sixty cents per one hundred dollars annually, and shall have
all power of distress and sale of real and personal property
given to the collector of State and county taxes for Somerset
county by the Code of Public General Laws and Public Local
Laws of this State for the collection of State and county taxes
in said county, to be used and exercised by the President and
Commissioners and the collector of taxes for said town in col-
