CHAPTER 537.

Druid Ridge
Cemetery of
Baltimore Co.
|
AN ACT to empower the Druid Ridge Cemetery of Balti-
more County to purchase, hold or use for the 'purpose of
burial two hundred acres of land in said county, and to per-
petuate its charter.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary--
land, That the Druid Ridge Cemetery of Baltimore County be
and it is hereby authorized and empowered to take, hold and
use, for the purpose of burial, two hundred acres of land in.
said county.

corporation,
etc.
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Druid Ridge-
Cemetery of Baltimore County, a corporation duly incorpor-
ated under and pursuant to the provisions of Article 23 of the
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, be and the same
is hereby declared to be and made a corporation for the uses-
and purposes, and with all the powers now appertaining,
thereto by law as a cemetery company in, by and under said'
charter with perpetual continuance, subject, however, and
only to the constitutional right of amendment and repeal;
provided, that nothing herein contained shall be construed to
exempt property hereinbefore mentioned from taxation.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 538.

Mt. Olivet
Cemetery.
|
AN ACT to require the authorities of the Mt. Olivet Ceme-
tery Company, a body corporate of Frederick County,
Maryland, to float the flag of the United States over the
grave of Francis Scott Key from May 30 to September 25:
in each and every year, and on all national holidays.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Company, a body cor-
porate, be and they are hereby required to cause the flap; of
the United States to float over the grave of Francis Scott Key
in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, in Frederick County, from and in-
cluding May 30 to September 25 in each and every year, and
on all national holidays.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
