SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 526.
AN ACT to give and declare the sanction and consent of the
General Assembly of Maryland to the devise and bequest
contained in the will of Annie R. Hanson, late of Baltimore
City, deceased, to the Church of the Messiah, in Baltimore
City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby given and declared to
the devise and bequest contained in the will of Annie R. Han-
son, late of Baltimore City, deceased, to the Church of the
Messiah, in Baltimore City, of a one-fifth interest in the rents
and profits, and in the proceeds of the sale of certain property,
situated on Lombard and Liberty streets, in Baltimore City.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 527.
AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General Assembly
of Maryland to certain gifts, bequests and devises contained
in the last wills and testaments of certain persons late of
Allegany County, deceased; and also to a certain conveyance,
grant or deed of land, lying in Allegany County, to and
for the use and benefits of certain ministerial persons,
religious corporations and charitable institutions as herein-
after set forth.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sanction and consent of the General Assembly
of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared, given and
granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises, grants, con-
veyances and deeds to and from certain persons and bodies
corporate to and for the use and benefit of certain ministerial
persons, religious corporations and charitable institutions as
hereinafter set forth.
