exhibit to the said Baltimore Annual Conference of the Col-
ored Methodist Protestant Church at each annual meeting of
said Conference a full and accurate report of the state of
accounts of said corporation.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That all deeds, leases, mort-
gages or other conveyances or papers made and executed by
said corporation, required to be acknowledged by the laws of
Maryland, shall be acknowledged by the president of the said
Baltimore Annual Conference of the Colored Methodist
Protestant Church.

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 515.

AN ACT to extend the privileges, enlarge the powers and
amend the Charter of the "Eureka Mutual Aid Society of
Baltimore City," a corporation duly incorporated under the
General Laws of this State.

WHEREAS, The Eureka Mutual Aid Society of Baltimore
City was duly incorporated on the 4th day of February, A. D.
1882, under the provisions of the General Laws of this State
relating to the creation and regulation of incorporated com-
panies in the State of Maryland, and is desirious of extending
its privileges and enlarging its powers; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Eureka Mutual Aid Society of Baltimore City,
in addition to the powers possessed by it under its said certifi-
cate of incorporation, and under the General Laws of this
State, shall have and possess the further powers, rights, privi-
leges and franchises, particularly mentioned in this Act, and
its Charter, as set forth in said certificate, shall be altered
and amended so as to conform to the terms and provisions of
this Act.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Eureka Mutual
Aid Society of Baltimore City shall have perpetual succession,
and may sue and be sued, and may have and use a common
seal, and the same may alter and renew at any time, and shall
also have the power to ordain, establish and put in execution
