rant issued by the Burgess, or assistant Burgess in the absence

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to require the County Commissioners of Talbot
County to pay annually to the Commissioners of St. Michael's
and the Commissioners of Trappe a certain portion of tax
levied upon the property within the limits of the town of
St. Michael's and the town of Trappe.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Talbot County shall
pay annually to the Commissioners of St. Michael's and the
Commissioners of Trappe a sum of money not exceeding fifty
dollars to each out of the taxes levied upon the property of
St. Michael's and the town of Trappe, for the purpose of keep-
ing in good repair the main or public roads running through
the said towns, and known and described on the plat of said
towns, respectively, as Talbot street, in the town of St.
Michael's, and Main street, in the town of Trappe.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Burgess and Commis-
sioners of Boonsboro, Washington County, State of Mary-
land, to borrow money on the credit of said town for the
purpose of constructing or purchasing and operating water-
works in or near said town and to issue bonds for the pay-
ment of the cost of the same, and to levy a tax on the
assessable property of said town to redeem said bonds and
to pay the interest thereon.
